The Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town is an iconic landmark steeped in history and luxury. Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain, this elegant oasis offers timeless elegance, impeccable service, and breathtaking views in an outstanding surrounding. They’ve an gorgeous garden with lovely roses and an abundance of palm trees, more than you could possibly count..

In the middle of the lush grounds, they have an amazing seating area that exudes beauty, resembling a scene straight out of a Pinterest board, perfect for relaxing and having great conversations.

Everything was absolutely perfect, beginning with the warmest welcome, we could have imagine.

The rooms at the Mount Nelson Hotel were truly extraordinary, exuding an air of timeless elegance and luxury. The entire Staff was incredible and were always happy to assist us to provide an exceptional experience.

The hotel put so much love into every detail.For example, we each received personalized  beautiful toiletry bags engraved with our initials—what a thoughtful and charming gift!

It was a delightful surprise that was one of the many special touches during our stay.

They also offer a wide range of different facilities, including a beautiful furnished Spa, tennis court and a elegant ancient backgammon room and further more you can squeeze a great workout in their amazingly equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring an exceptional workout experience.

Beloved Tip:

I highly recommend visiting the more secluded beach, called Waters Edge  just before the bustling main area of Boulders Beach for penguin spotting, ensuring a tranquil experience away from the crowds and cameras. As you approach the parking area for Boulders Beach, follow the small path downhill past a charming restaurant and a little tor until you reach the serene shoreline. We found ourselves alone there, just a few rocks away from where the crowds gathered, offering a peaceful escape amidst the beauty of nature.

Located in the heart of Cape Town, is within walking distance from the Waterfront. showcases a fascinating collection of African art, artifacts, and cultural treasures. From ancient sculptures to contemporary masterpieces, visitors can immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Africa's diverse heritage and artistic expression. With its thought-provoking exhibits and engaging displays, the Seitz Museum offers a captivating journey through the continent's history and creativity.

As its located within walking distance from the Waterfront, i recommend combining a visit with exploring the harbour and its area afterwards.

Scenic drive along the Cape Peninsula

Book a guide and embark on a breathtaking journey south to the Cape of Good Hope, where the route offers magnificent views and awe-inspiring vistas. Our guide's insightful commentary enriched the experience, providing fascinating insights into the country's politics, culture, and more. Along the way, we passed by a renowned shark beach, where a lookout point allowed us to capture incredible views of the ocean and the beach below, including the famous shark fin rock formation, providing the perfect opportunity for photos.


Unforgettable Boat Cruise along the Coastline

Cruising along Cape Town’s extraordinary coastline was an unforgettable experience, filled with moments of awe and excitement.The rhythm of the waves carried us along as we were surrounded by the natural beauty of the sea.We felt incredibly grateful for seeing dolphins and seals playing.And the gigantic views were just beyond … and definitely one for the books!

Outstanding view - Cape Town`s Coastline

Cape of Good Hope

Located at the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa, is a renowned landmark known for its stunning coastal scenery and rich maritime history. It marks the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, offering dramatic cliffs, rugged terrain, and breathtaking views that attract visitors from all around the world.

Beloved Tip:

Since it's another hour from Boulders Beach to the Cape of Good Hope and you have limited time in Cape Town, it may be more rewarding to enjoy the outstanding drive and the experience at Boulders Beach instead of traveling further for just a sign.

Diaz Beach

Its one of Cape Towns more hidden gems.. Perhaps the reason Diaz remains largely undisturbed is thanks to the 20-minute walk from the parking lot down a steep set of wooden stairs. For the stunning views alone, it’s undoubtedly worth it, as Diaz will render you breathless in the best possible way!
