After our 6 hours flight, we got welcomed by our resort at the airport. Then we had a 20 minutes car drive to a privat lounge from the hotel at the pier, were my dad checked in, while my little brother and me where enjoying a arabic welcome drink and the best dates I ever had.

During the 20-minutes boat ride to the island ,in the beautiful wooden boat, we were enjoying the breath taking view on the skyline from Doha. At the arrival on the island, you are immediately blown away by the spectacular view.

What a scenery looking on the glowing city with so much privacy !!

The next morning we were able to look at the whole island in daylight and we were fascinated how beautifully maintained everything is with so much attention to lovely detail.It’s the perfect destination for a get away from it all without resignation of luxury. An experience we will never forget !

They have a Wonderfull white sandy beach, were we enjoyed swimming every day.

We could choose from a wide range of different water sports activities, from scuba diving or snorkeling over jet skiing, stand up paddling until a parasailing flight. Their pool area is great, its directly on the beach with beautiful and cozy cabanas. My brother was surfing once on a artificial wave system, I was his cheerleader. Vey Proud sister !!

They also have an amazing spa, one of the most beautiful spas I have seen so far.Its over water with a breathtaking view of the horizon over the ocean.The massage was very relaxing and great for soul and body.

One the island they have different cuisines you can choose from, our favorite was the Arabic restaurant, were they serve amazing salads and homemade dips ( they had the best hummus) with a perfect spiced chicken.In the mornings they spoil you with a outstanding buffet, they had everything form a fresh juice bar and smoothie bar, a egg station, fresh sliced fruits in front of your eyes, you can even have a miso soup to start into your day.

Our suite was beyond beautiful, we felt more than cozy during our stay and enjoyed the luxury arbaic style. Every evening we got surprised by the kind staff with a different animal made of towels - a piece of art !

We booked a day trip via the Concierge, we had a guide for a full day, he was showing us everything and all the hidden gems of Doha. We also strolled over a special souk ,where everything smelled intense and everything had strong and bright colors. What a special day !!

In Doha falcons are sacred, on the plane you have to book a special seat for them in business class and they have their own falcon hospital, which we were allowed to visit.

It was a perfect and unforgettable week, with great experiences, insights into another culture and beloved quality time as a family.
