10 Immune System Boosters

The summer is almost over, and the colder season are waiting for us….I really take care of my immune system, especially during the colder seasons.We all don’t want to be sick and stay in bed all day long. - Take care of yourself !!

Some of my favorites include spending time in the sun and getting out into the fresh air. Not only do these help lower stress and inflammation - studies have shown that sun and fresh air can help to kill off bacteria and viruses.

1.) Cinamon - a power spice

I really do love the flavor of this spice, I add it simply to everything; my morning oats, smoothies, Currys, soaps and my matcha latte… It has got many benefits, its rich in antioxidants, which help to neutralize harmful free radicals in the body and natural antimicrobial properties that can help fight various types of infections.

So don’t forget to buy extra cinamon when you go next time grocery shopping….

2.) Hot lemon ginger water

Thats my absolutely go to every morning, no matter where iam or how cold it is outside.

Its a fix part of my routine, which I definitely don’t want to miss anymore…

Lemon and ginger are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, which are known to support the immune system. Vitamin C helps in fighting off infections and boosting overall immune function.Ginger contains compounds with anti-inflammatory effects that may help reduce inflammation in the body.

3.) Celery juice

Since a couple of months now, I drink my fresh celery juice every single morning, when iam at home.Celery is a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin K, vitamin C, potassium, and folate. These nutrients play various roles in supporting overall health.Some compounds in celery, such as luteolin, have shown anti-inflammatory properties in recent studies.

Some proponents claim that celery juice helps balance the body's pH levels.

4.) Going for a walk

Fresh air is also a must by supporting your over all health, but don’t forget to put on a cozy jacket and warm shoes, when its freezing outside …. You don’t want to feel cold

5.) Cold Shower

It must be healthy, as its proven in many studies already, but iam not showering warm, I almost shower hot… I always freeze very quickly.. but once in a while I end up with a few seconds of cold water, which improves immune system and circulation in our bodies.

6.) Sleep

Aim for 7-10 hours of sleep per night, this is very important for all our body functions.

7.) Hydration

Staying hydrated supports overall bodily functions, including immune response.Sometimes I almost have the feeling of drinking to much per day …

8.) Eat foods, that fight inflammation

  • Berries

  • Fatty fish

  • Nuts

  • Greens

  • Turmeric

9.) Blood Test

Get your blood tested, to see which minerals your body might needs extra, than you can boost your body when taking the right supplements for you.. for example zink…

10.) Manage Stress

Pay attention to your stress level, our body hates feeling stressed, so focus on relaxation, meditation and your well-being
