1.)What are the great benefits from drinking matcha daily?
Matcha is a powerhouse of antioxidants, particular EGCG, which supports heart health and metabolism.It also provides a calm yet alert energy due to the unique combination of caffeine and L-theanine. Personally, I find matcha gives me a sustained energy boost without the jitters which I get from drinking coffee.
2.)How did you developed the idea of creating your own matcha and how long did this process took you?
My journey with matcha began out of my personal interest.As someone who never quite enjoyed coffee, I was drawn to matcha for its health benefits and the ritual behind its preparation.This interest depended when I moved to Shanghai and opened a cafe, where serving matcha became a daily routine.
It was there that the seeds from Matcha Union were sown.Returning to the UK, I took different steps- tasting different matcha samples and developing the concept.
It took about a year to design, source the best leaves, and perfect our range.
This whole process was a labor of love, combining my passion for wellness with a commitment to sharing our amazing product.

Im Louisa, a wellness enthusiast and the founder of Matcha Union.Our brand is all about bringing high-quality, ethnically-sourced matcha to our community.We focus on sustainability, health and celebrating a modern approach to the traditional art of matcha.
4.)How do you prepare your daily cup of happiness and when do you drink it?
Enjoying matcha can be so versatile.The basic guideline os to whisk 2g of matcha with 70ml of water at 80 grad. For a traditional cup, topp it off with more water, or add your favourite milk for a delicious matcha latte.
My personal favorite morning ritual involves a classic matcha tea with a hint of honey, topped with oat or almond milk.On days im looking for something more substantial, I add a scoop of vanilla collagen.
The key is to integrate matcha into your lifestyle in a way that suits your taste and needs.
