My Tropical Dream: Brazil

Brazil is a magical place and has a special meaning for me. Hard to describe me feelings and thoughts into words for this this country. Pure magic !!

Immediately after arrival, I feel the strong energy that this vibrant land has to offer..But let's start at the very beginning, because the journey is quite long, but since I love flying, I can already enjoy the many flying hours and it feels great !!

Our journey to Brazil starts with our first flight to Zurich, then at around 11pm our 10 hours in the air begin.. I always loved our stay on board. The first thing I do  at a long flight is watching my favorite movie of all times ,,Crazy rich Asians,, , it has already became tradition for me.Even few hours, before I fall asleep I track our position via the screen, I find it very interesting. When I wake up in the next morning, we still have one or 2 hours left, depending on how long I sleep. I always have a perfect sleep in the plane, very thankful for that. After our landing in Sao Paulo, we are going straight to our upcoming flight to Porto Seguro, which has a 2hours flight time.

The best felling after getting of the last plane in Porto Seguro, is taking one deep breath, inhale and exhale. All is very different as iam used to.

After we got our luggage from the cutest airport in the world.. someone from the hotel was waiting for us, to bring us to the resort. The drive is around an hour, but its already very impressive to look out of the window and dive into the Brazilian life. Both times I’ve been there, I loved the car drive and I could already discover so many things threw window.

The resort is located in the heart of the untouched Brazilian nature, so you take a little ferry (where only a maximum of 8 cars fit) to arrive.

Campo Bahia

This place is out of this world !! When you enter the inviting resort, you walk threw a dream catcher, which is the symbol of the hotel.

I cant describe in words how much I love this exotic surrounding … in the morning when I look out of my window I can see wild monkeys and a surreal view on the ocean. It always holds my breath for a few seconds ..

The resort is very clean, well kept and is beautifully designed. Additionally the resort is very privat& luxury. There are just a few villas in the resort, so there aren’t many other guests in the resort.

After I  put my bikini on, iam very excited for the world best breakfast, they offer the freshest and widest range of all  fruits you can image; from dragoon fruits, most juiciest mangos, lycées, pineapple, kiwi and an amazing dark red watermelon. And they even offer fresh acai bowls, because its the origin country for the acai berry.

Little Visit from Mr. Crab

During the day I love swimming in the refreshing ocean, tan at the beach, play tennis or hit a session in their gym with ocean view… I also love to hang out with my dad& brother in the pool area and go for a swim.

I haven’t mention yet, that this luxurious resort, was during the world championship 2014 the accommodation for the German  team. This was also the history of the resort, as it was originally built for the national football team back then.

The hotel has an fantastic Spa, where my dad gifted me one of the best massages I have ever had. So relaxing and they created a beautiful atmosphere, to really calm down.

Not only the breakfast is out of this world, the chef always created the most delicious and freshest  meals for us. The entire staff  is very warm- hearted and helped us in any needs or questions.

Once we were so lucky, that  real indianers came to visit and danced with us  to their special music and afterwards we made our own dream catchers with them. I still have mine at home. What a Wonderfull lifetime experience !!

At one of the other memorable days during our stay we went out with the boat and we could saw beautiful colored fishes and crabs on a little sandbank in the middle of the ocean. I even tried out diving for the first time in my life, which was quite thrilling and made me feel very free, like being in a spaceship.

To finish up, its my happy place, otherwise I would keep on writing a whole book about this magnificent place and the energy it has.
